Established in 1948 Nelson Butler & Son is one of the few remaining family run Saw Mills left in the U.K. Specializing and sourcing English Walnut, Rippled Sycamore, Brown Oak, Rippled Ash, Tiger Oak and Hornbeam. We pride ourselves on giving a personal service, whether you need one select piece of timber or an arctic load.

    We select some of the nicest boards from our kiln dried log supply to be flattened, measured and photographed for this shop category. Meaning if you like a specific board but are not fully satisfied, then we may have similar boards from the same log that perhaps serve as a better option for you.

    Each piece listed in this category has been machine flattened and simply needs sanding to finish.     Browse our selection of fine timber packs. We offer huge variation of timber packs, from different wood species, to different cuts of wood or different wood finish methods. All packs have clear pictures of numerous different rows within the pack to get a visual idea of what you may be purchasing.
